Îòâåòîâ - 9

Mio Lundgren: Mio Lundgren has wanted to play quidditch from the first sight. He wanted to pass selection, but he knew why he shouldn't. Starting his sixth year at Hogwarts he couldn't contain himself any longer, and Mio took a place in Gryffindor's team. There were these rumors he was waiting for, that his father bought him the place, and that's why he was very nervous at his first training. He should have shown that he deserved this place. He was on the broom, quite good for a novice, he held the quaffle, and he was ready to knock everybody out. Mio was rushing in front of the rings and the keeper like lightning and wanted to be first anyway. Every time somebody failed to hit, there was only his voice, screaming "Fumbler!" He shaked his head with disapproval, looking at the keeper, letting through a goal. Mio was quite good, but he was unbearable here as well, bothering to every player with his yelling. There were several times he played foul, on the edge of the rules, but it didn't matter to him at all, as it seemed. Everybody knew that it was his first almost game, but in the end everybody wanted to give him a good hit, and it looked like the captain James Potter wasn't an exception. Mio couldn't ask "How was it?", because he was a little bit afraid of the undesirable answer, and he kept silence, waiting for the captain to start.

James Potter: îîñ: ÿ ïîäóìàë, ÷òî åñëè ìû áóäåì îôîðìëÿòü ïðÿìóþ ðå÷ü ïî àíãëèéñêèì êíèæíûì êàíîíàì, òî ñâèõíåìñÿ, âîò. James had been keeping his eye on Mio since the first minutes of training. The results of observing wasn't good at all. Lundgren was bothering everybody and there was no need to be an telepathist to understand it. Of course, Potter had expected some problems with this guy but he had no idea that it would be problems like this. What was going on with Mio? Prongs couldn't deny that he plays well, but if Mio continues yelling and playing foul, he would have to fire him out. There was no doubts that they should talk firstly, because James didn't want to lose good players. - Okay, guys, you were pretty good for the first training in a year, you can be free now. I'll talk to you all later in a castle, - Potter waved goodbye to players and looked directly to the Lundgren. - Mio, wait, we need to talk. Well, firstly he needed to calm down a little. May be Mio was nervous and couldn't hold himself in hand. Prongs gave a deep sigh and came up to Lundgren. - Mio, let's make it clear. I'm a captain and even if I hardly want to hit you after this training, I won't do this, - he grinned. - But others have only moral reasons which, I hope, stop them to hit you badly somewhere in a dark corner. Is it clear now? Okay. Now I want to know what the hell was going on with you during the training? Why did you bother everybody with yelling? I want to avoid fights in team so be honest.

Mio Lundgren: ooc: it's almost month since your post, i'm very sorry about lingering so much over my such small post. Mio was too nervous now, because of captain's request to stay and talk. He thought, that it would be their first and last talk, and was sorry about his behaviour during the training. But he couldn't admit it in face of James, even for life's sake. - What's wrong with me? What's wrong with them, I wanna ask. I'm novice but even I'm able to see that sometimes they play thoroughly bad. Sure I can keep silence, but other teams' fans won't do this, too. I'm honest, I'm honest with them. If anybody wants to yell at me, I won't object. If I play bad, I wanna hear it. Am I play bad? It was rough challenge, and it wasn't definitely right thing to say. Lundgren was still on the rise after the flying, and blood was still rushing in veins, in his head. He knows such yelling, actually. He knows how people are watching him in seek for the slightest mistake, to shout at the top of their voice, 'We knew that he couldn't do it, he just had bought this right, he had payed for it'. They will say it about his participation in team also, it was as clear as noonday.

James Potter: Jim understood the way Mio was talking very clear. Of course, James could take up the challenge. But that was the line which captain must not cross. Potter screwed up his eyes in a mocking way and tried to keep himself calm. He wouldn't react to novice's defiant tone and he made it clear for Mio to see. That was the difference between captain and player and Prongs tried to emphasize it. - You didn't play bad, Mio, you played foul, and I have seen it, and I said nothing to you just because you're novice here. But you didn't get one thing. Jim was speaking in his special captain's tone, which usually forces everybody to listen to him and keep quiet while he's talking. He became serious, though sometimes the mockery appeared in his eyes. Every player got used to it after a while, but in the beginning it can make person feel nervous and James did know it. However, he couldn't control it anyhow. - I don't care whether you're a son of pure-blood minister of magic or of a muggle yardman, whether you're rich or not, whether you have a "Comet" or "Cleansweep", I do not care. I care about four things here: if you're healthy, if your broom is fine, if you play good and according to rules and if you all are playing well together. So you should take care of yourself to be healthy, should keep your broom in a normal state and should notice your mistakes, improve yourself and your skills. Because it was my decision to make you play in this team and I am responsible for how does every single person play - and how do you too. That is kinda my work to notice and say what do player do wrong and advice him how to avoid this or that mistake, not yours. So watch over yourself and only yourself, - Potter looked straight to the Mio's face. - Moreover, it's a team game, Mio. You're not gonna play in quidditch only by yourself. There are us and we are team, and well-played quidditch match is our team work. That's why we all gather here to train our skills together. You may be a wonderful chaser but if you can't work in team - you will have to leave us. Why do I have to explain you this? - Prongs kept silence for a few seconds, watching Lundgren's reaction. - If you gonna challenge me again - don't. That won't work out with me. I'm here to help you understand where the hell you are now and I don't want to waste my time by being challenged. Gotcha? His smile was a little bit mocking, but also friendly.

Mio Lundgren: Mio flourished in bad smile, hearing Potter's words. He couldn't help talking in a such challenging, arguing tone. That's why he went on, - Yes, cap, that's the point, I think. You don't care if I'm rich, and my father is a... bigwig. But there are crowds around that think exactly different, always watching if I do a tiny mistake to blame me that my father bought me a place in this team. That's were his thoughts, and now he's just voiced it to make his position clear. - I know that it sounds as a rot. But you will notice all my mistakes, they will notice all my mistakes, and if I catch sight of somebody's mistakes, I need to be quiet. Sure. It's not fair. I don't consider remarks about each other performance a bad thing. You said that it's a team work. Your words. He made a protective gesture as if he was trying to deter a blow. - I had no intention to challenge you, because I have no reason. I don't know why you decided to take me in the team, but I'm grateful. Really. And I'm going to do my best to prove that I deserve it.

James Potter: Holy crap. This guy was so tough nut. It was hard for Jim to stay calm, when novice argued with him about behaviour on field using his own words. At first, he wanted to ask Mio simply shut up, but he understood that this wasn't a good thing to do if he wants Mio stop yelling during the trainings. James needed some more weighty arguments. How could he explain to Lundgren the situation about "bought place" and all that stuff? And should he do it at all? - Answer me, why the hell should they think you're good player if the only thing you do is yelling at them all the time? It sounds like "oh, look at me, I'm so goddamn good player, which you can only dream to be", - Potter mimicked Mio's voice. - Such behaviour proves nothing but that you're badassed ministerial sonny. Nice start, man. Keep on doing the same way and one day even I will think your father bought you a place. Moking smile appeared on his face. Prongs couldn't understand why did Lundgren worry about people's opinion so much. Was it so important what others think? He didn't care about such things at all, for example. - Anyway, my opinion about you is decisive. Everybody have to put up with such a situation. If I think you're bad as a player in this team, no money in the whole world can change my opinion. I believe, they know it.

Mio Lundgren: - But... He could say so much things else about other people and himself, but suddenly he understood that it's not the right kind of talking at all, that moreover the cap didn't care about it at all. If he wanted to play this game, he had to accept the rules. And the first rule was not to yell at other players about their game. He got it clear. - Yes, you are right, cap. It was a bad idea to start the season such way. And... He knew that he would be playing with this people for sometime, for two years if he wolud be enough lucky, and he needed to be in team with them, to have team relationship. He had no other choice. There will be one place in this world where he would be restrained, and it will be the quidditch stadium. - I don't want to fall out with other players, though I know that I did enough for this today. Isn't it late to change their opinion about me? I will really try not to behave such way further. Be an angel or go to hell. That's the principle.

James Potter: Jim gave a warning look to Mio, when he started with his annoying "but". He didn't know whether it was his gaze or not, but Lundgren stopped and James hardly resist from sigh of relief. There wasn’t a point “spend a lot of free time trying to explain Mio what he shouldn’t do at the field” in his today’s plan. Potter hoped that Mio understood him properly and there wouldn’t be any other cases with yelling, because he knew that next time he wouldn’t have so much patience to explain everything again. - It was only first training in a season, - Prongs shrugged his shoulders, - so, I believe, no. They surely will give you one more try, use it cleverly, Mio. I rely on you. No more yelling, no annoying behavior and you’ll be quite at home here. The rules are simple. Youth tapped Lundgren on the shoulder. If this guy really wanted to reform himself, he could do it without any doubts. Jim’s aim as a captain was encouraging him to do so – that’s it. How Mio was going to reform himself wasn’t James’s business. And he was absolutely happy about it. - So can we consider it arranged?

Mio Lundgren: Mio nodded. - Sure, cap, - he said it in a very firm tone as if he sealed an arrangement. He was ready to break himself down this sole time, because he knew that he needed it. He needed quidditch, he needed flying, he needed this guy who appreciate his own value so suprisingly, who gave him a chance to fix his mistake. Lundgren won't let him down, he promised it to himself and was ready to promised it to the captain once and for all. - I got it, James. I'll be meek as a lamb. You won't be sorry that you gave me a chance. Thank you. Mio considered the talk was over, so he directed his steps towards locker room. He hoped that everybody else left it, and he would be alone. He has still needed time to think.
